Titled ‘Rebel Homemaker: Food, Family, Life’, the cookbook’s cover was recently revealed by the actress along with Chef and friend Pilar Valdes on ‘The Drew Barrymore Show’, reported ANI.
Talking about her debut cookbook, Drew said on the show, “So you all know at this show, if you’ve ever watched it, how much we love cookbooks, how much we embrace it. And we have a Cookbook Club, which is a very important part of the show. So guess what? We wrote a cookbook!”
In an earlier interview with People magazine, Drew had spoken about how her love for food began in her 20s as she gained more life experiences and how she started experimenting with cooking in her 30s and 40s. “I started traveling the world, educating myself about food, learning who my favorite chefs were, and trying different restaurants. And that inspired me to then eventually start cooking in my 30s and 40s,” Drew had said.
Talking about her fascination with cookbooks, she told People magazine, “Cookbooks are like school books for me, and I read them front to back. I love the stories. I love learning a technique.”
Meanwhile, the actress is ‘also launching her own lifestyle magazine titled ‘Drew” this year, reports ANI.
