COVID-19 cases are increasing day by day and this time the deadly virus has spared none, be it Bollywood actors, TV artists, or sports celebs. While the influential people of the country are extending support to the people in need during the pandemic, actor Dia Mirza took to her Twitter handle to thank the frontline workers in the health care sector of the country. Thanking the doctors, nurses, and everyone else who are grappling with the deadly virus everyday, she wrote, ‘Witnessing this tragedy & trying to help people from a distance is so hard, I cannot imagine how tough this must be for doctors, nurses, ward attendants, ambulance drivers and all those working in the health care sector. My heart goes out to each of you. GRATEFUL’. Dia, who is expecting her first child with husband Vaibhav Rekhi is one of the most active celebrities on social media and never shies away from expressing her opinion. She is also a nature lover and often urges people to save our planet and protect nature. Earlier, on Earth Day, she had penned a note showing her concern towards mother nature , ‘The #COVID19 pandemic has given us heartbreaking evidence of the consequences of our broken relationship with nature. Human suffering can and will be reduced only and only if we come together for #ClimateAction We can and must restore our Earth’s health’. Now, talking about the work front, Dia was last seen in Taapsee Pannu starrer ‘Thappad’ and won accolades for portraying the character of Shivani.
