Former Bollywood actress Somy Ali who has featured in movies like ‘Aao Pyaar Karen’ and ‘Teesra Kaun’, to name a few entered Bollywood in the year 1992. More than her movies, Somy was all over the news due to her relationship with superstar Salman Khan. The duo dated each other for a period of 8 years. It was recently when she claimed that the actor cheated on him and that’s the reason she broke up with him and left. The actress also opened up about a bad experience in Bollywood wherein she spoke about an instance which made her uncomfortable in the film industry. Somy said, ‘A couple of directors tried to have sex with me. I was in a horribly abusive relationship. So yes, it was pretty bad overall.’ The former actress further shared that she has no plans to make a comeback in Bollywood. Besides talking about her bad experience in Bollywood, Somy also shared that she did not learn a single thing from Salman. She said, ‘But I learned a lot of good things from his parents. The biggest thing I learned is that they never saw religion and treated every human being equally. Their home was open to everyone and love permeated throughout their house especially from Salma (Salman’s mother) aunty.’ While concluding, Somy said that her personal suffering led to the foundation of her organisation – No More Tears. Somy revealed that she wanted to turn her horrors into something amazingly positive. For the unversed, In 1991, Somy Ali landed in Mumbai with the intention of marrying her teenage crush, Salman Khan. The duo’s relationship was one of the hot topics of gossip in the mid-90s. Unfortunately, things didn’t workout between them and the couple parted ways in 1999. Somy then returned to her home in the US and resumed her education.
